about

Suspects return with a brand-new single 'Wasted Precious Time' which evokes the satanic riffology of 1970's Black Sabbath, adding the social conscience of early Idles and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.

Frontman Thomas Prescott is the charismatic voice of the enraged right now...reminiscent of Henry Rollins lyrically but Jack White and Josh Homme musically. John Lydon once said, "anger is an energy" and that energy is present in abundance on this track which laments the effects of capitalism on our environment.

The track is released on Southend’s Cool Thing Records (Asylums, A Cause In Distress, BAIT, BLAB, Beckie Margaret, Private Jetlag, The Horse Heads, Indian Queens).

The band’s first five singles 'The Mental Health Act', ‘Innocence’, ‘Anaphylactic Shock’, ‘Armageddon & Me’ and ‘Recovery’ were championed by BBC6 Music, Kerrang!, Louder Than War, Radio X and BBC Introducing.

The band have once again employed the production skills of Thomas Mitchener (Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Gallows, The Futureheads, Asylums). The result is a soaring, dynamic mix of Hüsker Dü melodic anthems gene-spliced with the riffadelic power of Queens Of The Stone Age.
